The driver directory
A single directory of every driver, with name, driver number, depot, operational role and status. Control who appears in the QR driver list and who can authenticate.
QR portal identification
Choose how drivers identify themselves on the vehicle QR portal — name, driver number, PIN, or FleetIQ login — with configurable authentication strength for walkaround submission.
Driver PIN distribution
Generate secure driver PINs for stronger QR identification. Where Connecteam messaging is enabled, PINs can be delivered to drivers through Connecteam.
Source-based driver matching
FleetIQ's source-based matching reconciles drivers across APEX, Connecteam and manual entries into one FleetIQ Master Driver identity — with admin-confirmed, permanent links.
Walkaround and defect history
Every walkaround a driver completes and every defect they report is linked to their driver record, giving you a full history per driver for audit and compliance.
