Driver synchronisation
FleetIQ syncs users from Connecteam and reconciles them with your FleetIQ Master Driver directory using a source-based matching workflow. Admins confirm each link, and confirmed links are permanent — future syncs use the stored Connecteam user ID.
FleetIQ Master Driver matching
Connecteam users are matched to FleetIQ Master Drivers by first name and surname, with admin confirmation before any link is locked. This keeps one FleetIQ Driver identity per person, even when they also exist in APEX.
Driver QR identity
Connecteam-imported drivers can appear in the FleetIQ Vehicle QR Portal driver list. Because Connecteam may include office and admin staff, FleetIQ lets you control QR visibility and authentication per driver — so only operational drivers appear.
PIN distribution and messaging
Where Connecteam messaging is enabled by your company, FleetIQ can deliver driver QR Portal PINs and operational messages (such as walkaround reminders) to drivers through Connecteam. Messaging is strictly opt-in per company.
FleetIQ remains the source of truth
Connecteam is a source of driver identity data and an optional notification channel. FleetIQ remains the source of truth for the Driver Directory, QR identification, walkaround history and driver permissions.
