Vehicle defect management from report to repair

Driver defect reports
Drivers report defects through the Vehicle QR Portal during their daily walkaround. Defects are captured with the vehicle, section, description, severity assessment and optional photo evidence.
Triage and classification
Controllers review incoming defects, classify severity, decide on the response (repair now, monitor, defer) and create repair jobs directly from the defect record.
Repair job assignment
Defects become workshop jobs — allocated to a technician, tracked through to completion, with parts, labour and rectification notes recorded against the original defect.
Deferred and monitored defects
Minor defects can be monitored or deferred with a recommendation, so they are tracked without blocking the vehicle — and resurface for review at the right time.
Full defect history
Every defect — open, repaired, deferred or ignored — is recorded against the vehicle's permanent history, giving you a complete picture of recurring issues and repair outcomes.
